The client had a few issues that were holding them back from improving their rankings:

1) The Website has thin content and keyword's cannibalization. The same keywords were targeted on multiple pages and the content was also not optimized, which is why we created a content strategy that focused on resolving this discrepancy.

2) We created new core landing pages - however since they were newly added they had no ranking authority. For this reason, we focused our outreach efforts on building backlinks leading to those pages, which in the long run would help us increase the domain’s authority.

3) The final problem were the orphaned pages that couldn’t be found and/or indexed by Google.

We first discussed what their goals were, for both the long and short term. By doing this, we understood the results they wanted from their marketing. This helped us plan the right marketing tactics and local SEO practices to use. The first step was an in-depth SEO audit to know what state of SEO health of their website was in. After that, we created a custom local SEO plan to fix the problems we found

The Technical SEO element of our work for was focused on many components, including the following:

Improving website speed
Implementing 301 redirects
Fixing XML sitemap issues amongst others

Technical SEO is the base of any good SEO plan. It’s really important, even though it’s often ignored, because it helps your website rank well on search engines. For example, if search engine crawlers can’t find their way around your site, it can hurt your rankings or even make your site not show up at all.

Next, we worked on on-page local SEO. We did new keyword research to update the website’s content with relevant local search terms. We also made sure the headers were clear, so search engines could easily understand what each page was about. This helped improve the website’s ranking in local search results.

Other on-page SEO tasks that we completed included the following:

Creating optimized on-page copy
Improving meta titles and meta descriptions in line with new localized keyword research
Optimizing image alt tags
Restructure URLs to follow usability and SEO best practices
Implement the correct use of header tags throughout the site

Finally, we focused on off-page SEO. We checked the client’s and competitors’ backlinks to find chances for building new links. This helps improve a website’s visibility on search engines like Google. Through our outreach program, we added more quality backlinks to the website, which boosted its Domain Authority. The Domain Authority of of the website increased from 10 to 22.

Because of the SEO work we did, the number of keywords ranking has gone up.
In the 6 months, search visibility increased by 886%.
The potential keyword's ranking saw a positive boost in their positions in SERPs ultimately leading to an increase in inquiries not only via the website but also by phone.
